In order to meet customer needs, SCMG assembles a custom team of Partner-Suppliers that will take pride in the delivery of quality products and services. All project participants have a shared vision in the goals and objectives which we offer the customer. The Partner-Suppliers are committed to a successful implementation of this proposal.

Partner-Suppliers who work with the Strategic Chemical Management Group have excellent operational histories. Often the selected Partner-Suppliers are existing vendors with well-established track records. Others may be new suppliers, but have a long history of proven service in their industry. Some partners are minority-owned businesses that assist the customer achieve WMDVBE goals. Many Partners are "World Class" companies with proven experience in the global marketplace. All these organizations bring their broad business insight and experience to the alliance, which is yet another alliance benefit.

The Strategic Chemical Management Group and its key Partner-Suppliers are well-versed in strategic sourcing tactics. The concepts identified in the following table are core elements in SCMG approach.

Result Based

The customer's success in reducing costs will be SCMG's overall measure of success. Strategic alliance relationships are based on long term contracts and mutual obligations. SCMG recognizes that cost savings are the primary drivers for the maintenance of positive long-term relationships. Our ongoing efforts at benchmarking and continuous improvement support the ever-present cost reduction effort. Our unique approach, which ties pollution prevention and data collection into the procurement process, allows us to further identify cost reduction opportunities.

New Culture

The Strategic Chemical Management Group operates on a continuous improvement basis, which supports and assists the customer as they implement a strategic sourcing program. The implementation of a strategic sourcing alliance involves a deep cultural change which is supported by SCMG's experience in adult education and team building. SCMG will ensure that the customer, our Primary Partner, receives guidance and support as the customer evolves into its new culture.
